There a couple of good web sites offering tutorials for earlier versions of Paint Shop Pro. Most of the content here will be applicable to your version. Here's the addresses:

You should be able to find most information under the help menu in the program.

To add Accessories again, to get your games, calculator follow these steps:
1.. In Control Panel, start Add or Remove Programs.

You will need the software program for Jasc Paint Shop to reinstall it. It is not a part of Windows.

its possible that in your printing preferences you have black and white selected. you can also try reinstalling the drivers for your printers, first uninstall them and then install the drivers again preferably newest drivers from the makers website.

Hi!

Unfortunately, the only sure-fire solution I know of is to reinstall the OS from scratch (best way is to reformat the hard drive) then reinstall the Paint Shop application. More and more OEM software is made to be very finicky as to when and where it will install. The SW companies make much less on OEM SW vs. full versions, so they really want to make sure that it is a new computer that the SW is being installed on, in compliance with the license.

I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear, but I hope it was helpful. Please let me know if this helps solve your problem.

I used to have no problem with altering images and then 'saving copy as'. But for some time now, any picture altered and saved and then opened up again has degraded - become pixelated. Doesn't matter if...

As scanss says, the answer can only be as accurate as the question.

Broadly speaking though, when you save or "save copy", you are saving in a particular format, with particular format options.

Generally, you'd use JPEG... and with JPEG you can compress an image from almost no change right down to a very small file-size that will look absolutely horrid. This is true for most popular formats, so check any settings or options out when you are saving the file.

Also check your colour depth. 16bpp or 32bpp are standard and look fine, but if you are saving your high-quality images as GIF Files, they might be 8-bit colour and look nasty.

My computer crashed when downloading an upgrade of Paint shop Pro I want my money refunded

why are you asking for a refund here? you should somehow call the software developer for that...
here is the link of the developers
and by the way.. does it always crash everytime you start the program? because maybe its better you uninstall it and install it back again to use it or use a real program for photo edition like photoshop or a free choice like GIMP or paint.net
