If the ice maker isn't making any ice, first make sure the wire on/off switch inside the freezer is in the "on" position. It must be locked into position in order to work. Even a small shift can turn off the ice maker.
If the ice maker is turned on and still isn't producing ice cubes, take a look at the tube that transports the water from the water line to the ice maker. If the tube is iced over, ice could be blocking it. Soak a towel in hot water and wrap it around the tube until it defrosts. Listen for the flow of water.
If the water is running through the tube and no ice is being produced, the tube may have a leak. Look for icicles or thick patches of ice on the tube; those can signal the location of a leak.
Freezer temperature also plays a role in the ice maker's functionality. The freezer must be set at 8 degrees F or below for the ice maker to cycle properly. Check the thermostat, usually located in the refrigerator.
Keep in mind that the water supply valve usually has something to do with it. If the handle on the valve isn't turned to the correct position, the water pressure will be too low or too high and the cubes will not be the correct size. If the valve handle is in the correct position, the water supply valve could be clogged. The valve contains a filter that the water feeds through before proceeding to the ice maker, and if too much gunk builds up on the filter it can hinder the water flow. The valve could also contain a bad coil, an problem that would need to be tested for and repaired by a professional.
I could identified the problem as the water pump. The water dispenser is
producing water, but water is not being supplied to the ice-maker, then, if your Model LFX25960ST is correct, there is a Dual Valve assembly and the replace part number is 5220JB2008A.
Call or looking for any LG parts shop center. Hope helps.

This may just be a fluke. use a hair dryer to unfreeze the line and see if it happens again.

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly,
When both ice and water in door do not function the most probably suspect is the door / light switch. This switch is usually under $10.00 and is supposed to turn on the light when the actuator is extended and provide power for the water in door and the ice maker when the actuator is depressed. Your door switch is under the plastic TOP freezer door hinge cover and is item 406A of this diagram:

The switch should have 3 wires on it labeled as follows:
C = Common (Power in)
NO = Power for water and ice in door when switch is actuated
NC = Power for the light when the door is open
If the actuator arm is damaged on this switch it will not function properly. But... it can just be a bad switch also.
Power off / unit unplugged continuity checks would be:
C to NC door open
C to NO door closed.
The cover is removed by carefully lifting up and outward on the side of the hinge cover. Place a putty knife on the top surface of the refrigerator so you don't scratch up the paint. Then use the screwdriver against the putty knife to coax off the hinge cover to gain access to the switch.
Inspect the wiring where it goes through the door also. This type of door switch wiring is notorious for wire chaffing where it passes through the chassis. Gently lift the wires up just enough to inspect for shorts. Then push them back into the unit.
One other thing to inspect is item 271 (Hinge lever.) It can be broken.
I really think this switch is what is causing your water in door and ice maker not to function. Just looking at images this switch may only have 2 wires on it but I still believe this is causing your problem.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Don't forget that your dual water control valve has two sides. One side is for the ice maker and other side is for water dispenser. The water dispenser side may have recently failed causing water to not enter water filter area or dispenser, Thanks Sea Breeze
