Not detected wireless

I will do my best to help you with this concern.

1. go to Device Manager and check all drivers if nothing is missing...if yellow exclamation point.. found-update specified driver

2. In device manager under network adapter is where you check the driver if there's no icon on it like exclamation point..

3. if all drivers are updated-tried to connect to the network.
4. if this is a laptop. make sure the radio button/ wireless switch is on.. in connecting the network.
5. if this is a desktop, make sure the wireless adapter is working fine.

6. if still unable to connect try to contact your service provider and make sure you have the right WEP/ network key to connect to your network.

I hope this will help you.

I cnat connect online after recovery for thinkpad r51

check the driver if it's properly installed at device manager which is found in control panel. Look for the network driver and when you see a question mark or an exclamation point that means that you'll need to reinstall the network driver. Ask trained technicians for assistance.

Thanks and God Bless!:))

Replaced hard drive on HP dv4000. Install XP Pro and drivers from recovery disk. Updated to SP3. Do not have 1394 net adapter listed in network connections. Connected external hard drive to firewire port...

I would check in device manager (control panel) and see if the network card is listed. It probably has a yellow exclamation point next to it. If there is an exclamation point there, then right click the card and click uninstall. Next, using your wifi to access the internet, download the latest network card driver from the PC vendor website / Motherboard vendor site / discrete network card site.
Install the network card driver and you should be back in business.

Network adapter

First off, if you can connect to the Internet ok then you really don't have a problem. There probably is another network card attached to your computer that is not configured correctly.

If you can't Get online then try this:

Go to control panel, network connections (something similar) and if the network card appears than right click and chose repair connection.

would check in device manager (control panel) and see if the network card is listed. It probably has a yellow exclamation point next to it. If there is an exclamation point there, then right click the card and click uninstall.

Somehow download the latest network card driver from the PC vendor website / Motherboard vendor site / discrete network card site.

Hope this helps
