Question about HP PSC 1510v All-In-One InkJet Printer

2 Answers

Gone a week. Now my HP PSC1510v won't power up.

There was no power failure or anything. I am running a PowerMac G5 with OS 10.4. I cannot even get a green light. No sign of trouble before I went on vacation either.

Ello and welcome to Fixya!,

It may have overloaded or something has burnt out on it!

Contact HP and get replacements for it. It sounds like the Power Board has Died!

Hope This Helps --P3NGYJ03

Unplug the power cord and try a different outlet. Let's hope it's something simple. Good luck.

Can't print from HP 2540 aio to my Imac PowerPc G5 OS X 10.5.8 The Imac keeps telling that the printer is offline.

A quick look at the HP web site for this printer shows that it only supports Max OS X 10.6 and later. These versions only support the intel processor based macs. Your PowerPC mac is, unfortunately, obsolete as far as Apple and the peripheral manufacturers are concerned and is not supported.

@ Other computers might be beyond the range of wi fi limits, run the CD in other computers ask to detect.. if not detected suspect out range.Check obstructions of walls, beams, magnetic fields.
@ If printer is not scanning check whether copy happening or not, if copy is happening uninstall the drivers and reload it once again, if copy not happening check scanner unit warming up or not.

I have Hp Photosmart 309g - it is 2 yrs old. I get alignment failure & have tried all the resolutions on the support website. First Blue didn't print then after pulling the power out everything...

Yes that is unfortunately true, if it is out of warranty they won't be able to replace the printer. However, it can be traded for upgrade for an HP factory reconditioned printer for a lesser cost.

My computer (PowerMac G4) doesn't communicate with my printer

Get an add-in USB PCI card.  My peripherals work on my G4.  These PCI cards will have 2.0 speed.
