Question about Maytag HYE3658AY Electric Dryer
I have a tumbler fin (maytag front load) that has come loose on one end-how would I go about fixing-would I have to order a new fin. I cannot use it at this time-as I think the otherside would come off and or scratch up the inside of the dryer-? any help would be appreciated.
Most maytag dryers have push type clips that hold the top to the front. look between the top and front with a light and find them about 3-4 inches from the outer edges. once you get the top up then there will be screws that hold the drum baffles to the drum. just put a new screw in them and all will be ok. no need to replace them, just use new screws.

SOURCE: repair loose tumbler fin
Pop the top, remove the front, the drum will come free. Take pictures of how the belt goes around the motor. Fix your "fin" and reverse.
The top is held down by spring clips.
