Question about Samsung Propel A767 Cell Phone
I had my propel for a day and then it took a tumble into the toilet ... i took the battery out, tried to get the water out, and then blow dried it with a hair drier for 20 minutes. after that didn't work, i put it in the freezer for a day and overnight, then took it out and let it come back to room temperature. i've tried it once a day since then, and every time it stays black and lifeless. i've already checked if the battery is okay--i put it in my brother's propel and his worked fine. the sim card is also undamaged--i'm using it in my old phone. it's been out on the windowsill in my parents bedroom for 5 days now, and it still isn't working. can somebody please please please please please help me??? i am in absolute love with this phone and i don't want to have to use my old one another day. any ideas would be greatly appreciated :) thanks so much!
Hi there.... I have had many cell phones that have got wet and stopped working and every time I had to take out the battery and sim card, lay on side for at least 12 to 24 hours and they all came back to life. I don't think the freezer is the best idea.
That has always worked for me. Did you call customer/tech support for your carrier?
