Side by side. I tried that and it did not help. The sound seems to be coming form inside the door. I think there is some kind of closer inside the door.

Is the refrigerator a top & bottom, or side by side. Never the less, you need to apply some white lithium grease to the contact points of the hinge. where thr hinge meets the door get a q-tip, and apply the grease

Squeeks!!! When the door opens or closes it squeeks very loud. WD 40 and other similar products have nott helped.

WD 40 is a water displacement formula not a lubricating product.

Try a oil hand pump with some light engine oil on the henge directly.

After a few days this should help.

Hope this tip helps.

Sounds like drum squeeking, have to open and close front door to get even one page to print

Hi,

There is also the fuser unit that need regulare servicing because the majority of the squeeking comes from the fuser unit because of the generated heat.

Good luck

The oven door squeeks

lol sounds like its not just a lube problem but an alignment problem. alot of times the hing has a nylon bushing to cut that noise out. might just want to remove the hing and replace it or try to find a new bushing. these type of problems really ****. seems simple to fix yet it offten takes months of trial and error to cure the problem..... good luck

Door noise

Hello,

Common issue with this dishwasher. Easy fix though!! KitchenAid uses a nylon string that connects the hinges to the springs located along the bottom edges of the dishwasher. I had to pull mine out to perform this service. The nylon string seems to dry out and vibrates as the door opens and closes. All that needs to be done is put some Vaseline or other appropriate lubrication all over the nylon string. Especially where it passes through the roller and stationary guide. That will take care of any squeeking or grinding when opening or closing the door. Be careful as your door will now open just like it did when it was new. Now if I can only figure out how to keep my door from popping open during wash cycles!!!

you could try taking the fan assembly out and adjusting it or oiling it, sometimes it gets that back pressure when the door is closed because it has to work harder
