Side by side. I tried that and it did not help. The sound seems to be coming form inside the door. I think there is some kind of closer inside the door.

Is the refrigerator a top & bottom, or side by side. Never the less, you need to apply some white lithium grease to the contact points of the hinge. where thr hinge meets the door get a q-tip, and apply the grease

Swan fridge freezer-freezer dones,nt get down to temperature but fridge is working fine.if you turn up the thermostat the fridge acts like a freezer

There is a damper door that opens and closes when you move the thermostat. I would bet the door is functioning incorrectly. All the cooling of a refrig comes from the freezer and gets blown into the refrigerator compartment. If that damper door is open too far it will have constant freezer air blowing in....and if it's not open enough obviously the refrig will not get cool. Look at the upper left corner of your refrigerator, the center rear wall of the refrig or just feel around for a vent will cool air blowing out of it......Then take it apart and see if anything is broken.

FREEZER OK / FRIDGE SIDE NO INTERNAL LIGHT & NOISE

your refrig has a bad electronic control heres the part #W10135090 the noise your hearing is an internal relay on the board buzzing trying to turn the lights on. i found the part at sears.com and it was ony about 80 bucks it is a plug and play part so you should be able to replace it yourself. the board is located in the white box next to the compressor in the back of your refrig. thanks peyton

Refrigerator door not closing all the way

the pressure inside the box is pussing the other door open and what you need to do is tilt your refrig back until the door will close by itself and that will be as far as you need to go back with it ,,,, it's normal for it to happen and a frig should always have a little tilt / larryyb
