I am unable to delete phone numbers of text message sent or received,AT & T store could not help
If you really, really, REALLY, want to clear the memory of every name/number you have ever sent a text to or whatnot, you can reset your phone to factory settings, but that resets the settings, preferences, wallpapers, profiles, and everything else you have modified.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:

You cannot send
messages because the message centre number stored in your mobile may be wrong.
Please enter the
correct message centre number. To get the correct message centre number please
call your service provider and they will provide you the number.
Messaging >Options >Settings > Text message >Message centres
