Question about Legacy Audio American Legacy II LA590 Car Audio Amplifier
I have a broken American Legacy LA590, I was installing it and slipped with the cables in my hand and hit the metal shielding around the amplifier, checked all fuses, no power to the amp, checked the voltage with a voltmeter and that is fine, so definitely something wrong with the amp, had a little look but I cannot see any blown up components, trouble is, I am in the UK, know anybody in the UK who will repair these? Or how much will you charge me if I sent it to you?

Is that on all the time or are you saying the light is on? If that light is always on that just means it's protecting your amp. If it's off and not playing bass then your in trouble

Bad ground or bad power or if it's going into protect the wattage of the amp and wattage of the sub are mismatched. Assuming you are powering a sub? Possible issue with impedence. E.g. sub is 2ohms amp only 4ohm stable. Etc
