Question about Mitsubishi WS-65807 65" Rear Projection Television

Vertical lines across screen

Hi I get these lines across the screen now. First time it happened doing a convergence reset fixed it. It came back and now wont go away. HELP!!

    no, hitting the TV doesnt do a thing. I did notice that when i use the DTV input with my HD box the pic is fine. Its only messed up on ant or rgb inputs or s-video.

First bad link !!! tell me if you get these lines away when you do little hits on the side of the tv , if so that mean you have bad soldering pin and need resoldering regards please don't forget to rate thx

if the blue lines runs across the screen in the center its a vertical deflection problem it will need to be diagnosed.

Vertical color lines

I had the same thing happen to me this morning. I turned on the TV and it had colored vertical lines through the whole screen. I called Sony and they had me unplug the TV for about 15 minutes. This solved the problem. They said the boards just needed to be reset. It fixed the problem and I am happy with my Sony once again.

Can't correct green convergence

need to replace both Convergence ICs number STK392-110 you can het replacements here and they provide free instalation instructions and free on line tech support so you can do the repair yourself. heres the link.

Multipoint blue convergence cannot be adjusted

Sound like you need to replace the STK's and any blown pico's on convergence board.

Blue horizontal and vertical lines

We have many problems with loose or poorly seated cables and connectors on these units. Pull the back and reseat all the internal cables, especially the LVDS cable to the LCD control bd. If this does not correct the problem the main cause is a bad LCD control bd. or possible a defective main bd.

you have done said it vertical lines then you will have to take your tv to a tech for repairs.good luck.
