Hello, you can download the manual here: http://www.plantronics.com/us/media/media-resources/literature/user_guides/73156-01_CS55_US_DL.pdf?WT.dl=20 It says that a flashing amber light means charging, a solid amber light means charged, a solid red light means power, a solid green light means talking, and a blinking green light means muted.

What does theblue light mean when its blinking

the steady, blinking blue light means it is working. If the light blinks quickly, ususally 3 times, then it is either turning itself off or turning itself on. if you're getting a steady blink, try holding the button down long enough for it to flash rapidly 3 times in succession. after that, it should blink no more, because you have just turned it off. Want to turn it back on? hold the same button down until it flashes rapidly 3 times again, and you have just turned it back on.

Plantronics 510 Voyager Headset - PLN-510 Headset - Light blinking blue.

Good! You'll be happy to know, this is normal.

The Status Indicator flashes blue when the headset is on. When the battery becomes low, the indicator will flash red.

Lost my instuctions...

it is universal procedure to pair up all devices like this

first if ur headset is switched on switch it OFF by long pressing the main button in the centre it will blink blue light twice or thrice and will switch OFF after that u can touch any button it will not respond with blinking lights

Now press again that centre main button long press for like 10 sec until that blue light comes on and become STABLE when it is stable it means it is ready to pair up with any bluetooth device now go to ur PS sony switch the bluetooth ON and select search u will find ur headset with its model like H710 just select and when asked for pairing code enter 0000 Zero four times or try 8888 if it doesnt work , now u will see that ur headset light will start blinking and u will see a headset sign on the screen of ur mobile phone it means now it is paired up

now u can try to talk thru headset make a test call any number for voulume control there are two buttons on headset on upper sie with arrows u can select them to increase headset sound

pls rate me well for help ! Fixya rating is encouraging !

I have a plantronics 520,

Start with your headset turned off. Press the talk button on the headset. Hold it until you see the light on the headset begin to rapidly blink red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, etc. Let go, the light should continue to blink red and blue. Go into your phones blue tooth menu and search for the headset. The phone will only find the headset if the headset is in pairing mode (blinking red and blue). The pass key is 0000.

Steady Red Light

From the sounds of this.. It's all due to bad keying of the polarized charging plug. The solid red light PROBABLY means you're battery is pretty darn dead. It'll need a new battery(not worth the cost imho. get a new jabra, and be happy once again) At a certain low voltage, the red light starts blinking. when it drops below the preset threshold, it will shut off completely. If it sits too long at this discharged rate, the battry WILL self-terminate. If the voltage drops below a certain level, it's ruined. Also note, most Li-ion cells will only last a few years. 2-3 years of "full power" is usual. Mine's 2 years old(steady usage), and showing signs of it's age.

"My red light won't go off even though I charged it all night.
Also, a small piece of plastic came off the charge opening. I don't know if this is will pose a problem to the use of the Jabra BT150."

This is probably the most telling bit of information. It means you DID plug the charger in upside down. It will NEVER charge in that configuration, as it is supplying power to the completely wrong pins. If the battery was good to start with, it shouldn't hurt the headset, but never know. I have accidentily plugged it in backwards for a couple min before noticing, with no ill efect, but YMMV.

"Doesn't anyone from the Jabra manufacturer check this site?"

NO (especially not for discontinued products)
