Robert, this info is out of the manual from link below courtesy of vtech Canada support.
If you subscribe to caller ID service, the day, month and time are set automatically with each incoming call. You can also set the date and time manually. Press MENU when the handset is not in use. Scroll to select >SETTINGS, then press SELECT. Scroll to select >SET DATE/TIME, then press SELECT. Use the dialing keys (0-9) to enter the month, date and year, then press SELECT. Use the dialing keys (0-9) to enter the hour and minute. Press or to choose AM or PM, or press 2 for AM or 7 for PM. Press select to save.

There's nothing in the manual for the very simple reason that the CS6419 isn't a voicemail system. To setup your voicemail system, please refer to the documentation for that system.

Never used voicemail ,just used answering machine . Now voicemail light keeps flashing and symbol for voicemal appears on phone screen. I really do not know how to turn of voicemail or how to access...

You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

You can :
1) disable voicemal - no messages at all
3) depends on which network you are on , when in voicemal just press 3
