Question about Sony DVP-NS57P
Can you please share the method used to fix this problem. Is there a code you press on the remote control or do I have to open the unit up?
Thanks you in advance for your insight.

You need the sheet that came with the remote. If the manufacturer's codes do not work with your ??, then you need a more modern remote. The codes must ALREADY be in the remote to be used. The code is part of the REMOTE.
http://www.tvcodes.com/ may have the code for you.
