its hard to find a remote that will work an olevia , since this brand is new and alot of manf. that make universal remotes have not updated there system..
This company called Amergence Technology sells the Olevia Remote and will control any olevia television.

If even the indicator light in the front isn't lit, you might be lucky enough to have something simple such as a blown fuse that is in line with everything.
Normally, if the main power supply fails, a small 'always-on' supply that services the low voltage circuits that are kept alive even when the set is'off,' in wait for a command from your remote, survives.
Our Olevia has an 'off' indicator that extinguishes when the set is turned on, don't know if yours has the odd arrangement.
If you open the set (allow overnight with the AC plug pulled) and find no user accessible fuse to replace, you are probably looking at some labor charges for a service call.
Without a power-off rest period, you may encounter some nasty voltages inside.
In case it needs something, be advised that Olevia is bankrupt so other than 'commodity' parts common to other sets, you may not get the part you need.

There should be at least 4 mounting holes (VESA mount), and they should be used.

Unfortunately, This hdtv can only use with receiver. There is no cable connection back of it. You may connect it using with HDMI cable.
