You can right click on your internet icon in taskbar
if any connection is showing highlight it and click connect
if there are no connections showing in the side panel of the window click refresh network list you may need to do this a few times and once a connection shows highlight and click connect

First of all install eathernet in ur system, if u r using a cable of landline phone.go to compaq site,
free register in it, by ur valid mail and password, type ur laptop no RD153AV in serch box. after that select ur operating system, after it u will find ur all drivers.load all wireless, and LAN Drivers. and install it.then connect ur net, and open controll pannel-open internet option
then after it--click on connection-click on setup-next-choose ur connection -and finish it.
now open it again-click connection-there is a box is u see ur coonection then ok, if not the --click on add and add ur connection.
if u have many connection in that box then --click ur connection which u r using.
