Can you use 1 1/2 roofing nails in this gun

Need to start roof job tomorrow. Was told at lumber yard that roofing nails would work in this gun. I think the heads are to big to pass through the driver.

SOURCE: will bosch nail guns operate with Paslode brand nails?

The F28WW takes 28Deg nails that are collated with wire, so your nails won't work in that gun. The N80SB is also a 28Deg nailer so your 30 Deg nails won't work in that gun either. Sorry about the bad news but it looks like your going to have to spring for new nails

SOURCE: How to fix a bostich roofing nail gun that leaks

You need a refit kit to suit that gun which comes with new gaskets to prevent air leaks.

SOURCE: my brand new bostich roofing gun froze up after

Water in gun or wrong oil for cold temp will cause gun to freeze. Make sure that the compressor is not making water form in hoses due to hot air entering cold hose then freezing in gun. Remove cap of nailer and check for water and lube with light oil that remains liquid in your temp range. If the oil is too thick, the firing valve under trigger and headvalve will not budge. Use very short hose so warm air in tank can reach the nailer (heat is produced when air is compressed, however long hose will allow air to cool before entering gun). Stay warm and good holidays

SOURCE: nail gun not putting nail in all the way

you need to disassemble de gun,
once you take the rod that pushes the nails. you'll see that at the end of it its threaded that is the adjuster
you just turn it the way it needs to go. it is pretty simple what takes you more time is the disassemble process and of course putting everything back together.

Whats the difference between a roofing nail gun and an ordinary nail gun ?

A roofing nail is designed to be easier to be removed, they have a smooth shank and wide head that hold down shingles. A siding nail has a ring shank. A roofing nailer is used to quickly pin down shingles across a roof, the depth at which they are drive in is generally shallower than a siding nail.

How can I stop a RN46-1 from jamming

We often see jamming with stainless wire collation - the problem is almost never the gun, it is because the stainless wire is much harder to shear off than regular steel. I would suggest trying another brand of nail and see if that helps.
Also, yes, the trigger is all that is required to change it to sequential, it is a very easy swap.

Im roofing over an existing shingle roof, how long a nail should i use with a bostich gun? thanks

1 1/4" work just fine. 99% of our roofers buy those. We rarely sell any other lengths.

My milwaukee roofing gun works for a couple hours but then it wont feed the nails properly so it doesnt fire the nails anymore. what can i do?

It's quite possible that the areas through which the nails move in the tool need to be cleaned and or lubricated with light oil such as WD40. Rust or dirt from nails can build up on surfaces in the unit.
Check your manual for details.

Gun shoots nails by holding trigger but i dont have the head down

There are some adjustment But for safety reason's it could also be dried or sticky safety switch ,you could try setting or oiling it, But should probably let the certified repair shop do the job, that may alleviate you of some liability . hope this helps .

Can i use any brand coil nailes in my nv 45ab2 coil nailer

Yes. Roofing nailers all use about the same size and spacing on coil nails. You will find that Harbor Freight is about 1/2 the price of Home Depot or Lowes for those nails.
