I have completed a reset, switched off and on, put the Ink in and out but nothing seem to work! Can anyone Please help!

Send a test print to it from the printer properties. If you did not have any issues before you re-charged the printer cartridge, try another cartridge.

Always try replacing the ink cartridges first.

It sounds like the print heads in the 7780 are bad. Don't confuse the ink cartridges with print heads. The cartridges fit inside the print heads. You will need to change the heads. Here is a link to HP's how-to.

Could have the same problem with the Dell.

Try reinstalling your drivers. The computer may be confused with two different sets because of your second printer. If that doesn't work, and you have another computer available, hook the printer up to that one and install the drivers and see if the problem persists. If it does, then I really don't know what you can do, because that means the problem is in the printer's internal control and would be very hard to fix. If it doesn't persist on the second computer, then you know it's the first computer that's causing it. If nothing else works, try running a scan for viruses and spyware because they too could be interfering with your printer drivers. The computer actually does communicate with the printer even when you're not printing anything. It basically checks to make sure it's still there and waits for a response back with the printer status, etc. Some other program (whether wanted or unwanted) could be interfering.

SOURCE: HP Colorlaser CP2025dn PCL XL error Subsystem:

This seems like a driver issue to me. Are you using the Universal, PCL5 or 6, or PS driver?

If using PCL and are getting this error, try the Universal HP driver from the website. Likewise, if you are using the universal, try the PCL6 device specific driver.

If this fails, let me know and I can assist further

I've seen this error on this model in the past. I was only able to resolve the issue by replacing the formatter board. Hope this helps.

HP5550. Color ink ran out. Replaced with refilled cartridge, ink light still flashing. If I use an original cartridge this does not happen. Shop tells me cartidges are fine and proved it

some HP printers do this after a non original cartridge used The printer should still be able to operate even with the light flashing. If this does not work you may require to replace the print head.

Is it possible to use non HP ink in ths printer? Tried using "remanufactured ink", and concluded that this printer may be programed to block the use of NON HP INK.

It is always recommended to use genuine HP cartridges.
As if we will use the non HP or refilled cartridges, it will reduce the life of the printer.
And we will get an error "cartridge problem".
Plaese use the below cartridges, which are compatible with this printer.
HP 02 Black 660 pages
HP 02 Black Twin Pack 1320 pages
HP 02 Color Combo See single 02 inks
HP 02 Cyan 400 pages
HP 02 Light Cyan 240 photos
HP 02 Light Magenta 240 photos
HP 02 Magenta 370 pages
HP 02 Photo Value Pack 150 photos
HP 02 Yellow 500 pages
HP 02XL Cyan 600 pages
HP 02XL Magenta 555 pages
HP 02XL Yellow 750 pages

Did you refill the ink-cartridges yourself, or did you take it to a company that does the refilling?

Cartridge error hp officejet j6480 generic cartridge

I own one of these printers and refill cartridges for a living. When you get this problem its best to return the cartridge for another, thats what I do for my customers.

When buying re-manufactured cartridges its best to buy from a local store and ask about there return policy before making your first purchase.

If you are buying from a reputable re-manufacturer then this will be a very rare problem. It happens with genuine HPs too.

BTW this printer uses HP 74 & 75 inks. when buying re-manufactured buy the HP 74xl which gives (according to HP) 750 printers compared to 200 from the HP74. Remanufactured HP75s are fill to HP75xl capacity.

How to reset the ink level for a HP 60 ink cartridge? I have just refilled a HP 60 black ink cartridge but can not find anything on how to reset the ink level. I would do the "3 ink cartridge" trick but I...

You cannot reset the ink level indicator for the HP 60 ink cartridge. It shouldn't matter anyway because the level is only estimated for "management purposes only" (see user manual) meaning to let you know when it's near time to order a new cartidge. I have tried cycling through 3 different cartridges to reset the ink level for the one I refilled but it didn't work. Refill and just ignore the ink level indicator. Also, it's a good idea to clean the print heads with the solvent in the refill kit before refilling to remove old ink and imrpove print quality.

Refilled my Dell Ink Cartridge

yes, it's safe, and if you are dissatisfied with the cartridge, take it up with the cartridge re-filler...better yet, spend about $100 on a black & white laser printer (HP), and get 2000 pages per cartridge, and reduce cost per page by 20 times or more! And If you buy compatibles for this (which are more reliable) -save even more.
