Uploading pictures from computer to memory card to transfer
I just purchased a smartparts picture frame. I want to get pictures from my computer to the frame. The device that I purchased is Mobile Mate SD Plus Memory Card Reader. I inserted the stick into the computer but do not understand how to select the pictures I want to transfer to the frame.

If the card can be detected as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer, you can recover lost pictures from SDHC card with this: 1. Do not save any new pictures into the card of your camera. 2. Insert the SDHC card into a card reader. Connect it with computer. 3. Download recovery software, recommended one is Tenorshare Data Recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked) http://www.any-data-recovery.com/product/datarecoverystandard.htm 4. Install and open the program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start' button to start scanning process which will find your deleted pictures.
The first thought that comes to mind, possibly the SD card needs to be formatted to accept information. Check that the SD card is recognised in "My Computer or Windows Explorer", if it is, then right click, select Format Disk, then format as "FAT32" (or "NTFS" if available).
Some cameras will not work with the larger flash cards. Also the SDHC requires an adapter that accepts the high density. Many built into the computers do not accept the high density and will demand they be formatted. Verify the requirements of the devices you have for compatibility.
Yes. Operating systems that recognize memory cards usually provide
access to them similar to the way other storage devices (such as hard
drives) are accessed. Use an SD Card reader, mount the SD Card as a USB Mass Storage Device and drag and drop the files over to it. Remember the old 4.3 floppy drives? Insert it into the computer, access it through MY COMPUTER (if not prompted by the computer depending on your operating system) and drag and drop onto the PC. I hope this helps and good luck! Please remember to vote if this helps in any way. Thanks.
If you installed the disc that came with your camera into Vista and it still does not recognize the camera when you plug in your USB cable, one quick solution to get the pictures off of your card would be to purchase a card reader (approx. $20 here in the states). That is assuming that the computer does not have one built in. If it does, open the battery door on the camera with the camera off, and press on the card to eject it, put the microSDHC card into the SD adapter and plug that into your card reader into the SD slot. From there you should be ready to go.
