Most of the time you need to right click on the load and pick save as,or save link as,,,most of the time the site tells you how to save the load, but this is what you do when there is no download button.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :-

My insignia mp3 stopped playing music. The music plays, but when you plug in the earphones, you don't hear a thing.

first, verify your headphones are working. to do this, find another know working set and test. once you know they are working, verify unit has full charge and volume control is set up. If still not working, port has likely broken solder. If out of warrant, you can disassemble and solder yourself if qualified.

Insignia Kix - music management software needed

Wow, Windows Millenium edition was one of the worst operating systems that Microsoft ever made and was quickly changed to XP. I was on both Beta Teams.

Seriously, you need to upgrade to Windows 7, 8 or 10. You have no support and no AV. Upgrading your hardware and OS will see huge returns in functions and speed.

My only suggestion is to use Windows Media Player in Full Mode. Or use Apple iTunes (free) and pay their annual "I'll get music from where I please" fee, of IIRC $38.

You don't need one The below was copyed from an earlier post of mine. But it applies to you. Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth. To format plug it in to usb. Go to my computer It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f: Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format. Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f: Good Luck L8R
