I know I probably sound blonde but I can't seem to see the reservior to add fluid? Am I too short?
SOURCE: power steering fluid
I have a '98 Grand Voyager 3.3 L V-6, it's located on the passenger side fender at about the middle of the engine compartment, should be clearly labeled. countrycurt0
SOURCE: I turn right and I hear a squeaky grinding sound
First you need to verify where the noise is coming from. Squeaking and grinding is bad, like brakes, wheel bearings or ball joints. If you turn ther steering wheel while sitting still, that rules out brakes, or wheel brgs. The leak may be ps fluid, but check the hoses first, thats the most common thing to leak.
SOURCE: where is the reservior to add brake fluid to a
that is your brake fluid reservior. if you have fluid and no brake noise you may have a faulty mastercylinder. the first thing i would check is to make sure the vaccum hose to the brake booster is connected to the brakebooster and to the rear of the engine (since you did not know where your brake fluid reservior was the master cylinder is the meatal part that holds the reservior and the brake booster is the big round bubble that the master cylinder is bolted to) hope this helps you out.
SOURCE: power steering gets really stiff
Try a new belt. When belt is cold it's tight as it gets warm I suspect it's slipping through the pulley. Could be rack or pump, but I'd try the belt first.
SOURCE: how do I add power steering fluid to my
look in the reservoir off to the side,it will say power steering on the top of it,good luck ! it is a pump thats belt driven.
