Question about Computers & Internet

Error loading webpage.

There is a message board that I visit regularly and recently I have been having problems with the site. Once the page loads I get the little yellow triangle at the bottom left of the browser that says ''Done but with errors on page'' When I double click it to see the details of the error I'm getting

error: 'ning.loader' is null or not an object

This is causing me to not be able to reply to a message (I can start a new post in the thread, but clicking on reply does not add the previous post to the reply box as it has in the past. As far as I can tell everything else works fine. I'm using IE 6 on XP Pro. I checked my Java in case that was the problem and I do have the current version I belive version 6 dwnload 11.

Any idea how to fix this. Nobody else on the site seems to be having this problem.

Hi,
It seems, error messages occur when there is a problem with the Web site that you are visiting. The problem may be temporary.
Please try after sometime.

I cannot view the facebook/login page . it keeps telling me that the page cannot be displayed ? y is that ?

Facebook is a site that is visited by millions of users all at once. This stresses the website causing it to go down multiple times a day. Try restarting your internet browser and visiting the webpage again. If this does no work go to Google.com and search "Facebook Login". On the first link click "Cached" under the link. This should allow you to load a previous version of the website before it was down. Hope this helps!

Cannot access a site although have put in browser, to acitvate it, have been having error page 403, gone into browser but still will not allow access to stite requested.

HTTP Error 403 is an error message which means that you are not authorized to view the web page which you are attempting to load. Usually, the HTTP error 403 - Forbidden means that access to the file/folder you are trying to open has been denied, either on intention or owing to a configuration anomaly. You could attempt using a proxy website if the access is blocked intentionally.

SearchSource=10&ctid=CT2269050 Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unknown error. wat to do????

Webpage display issues: "This webpage is not available" (Network errors 2, 102, 104, and 105) Issue This message displays when Google Chrome is unable to find and load the requested web page.
Solutions Check your web address and Internet connection Double-check the URL in the address bar to make sure you're going to the right web address. If you've confirmed that you're going to the right web address, check whether you can open the same web page in another browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. If you can't see the web page in any browser, the web page may be temporarily down. You should also make sure you're properly connected to the Internet.
Check the error you're receiving If you can load the web page using another browser, but not Google Chrome, check the exact error you're getting by clicking the More information on this error link on the page. The rest of the solutions listed in this article are relevant if you're experiencing any of the following errors:
  • Error 2 (net::ERR_FAILED): Unknown error
  • Error 104 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_FAILED)
  • Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED)
  • Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED):
  • Unknown error
To disable the proxy run this from the command line or modify your shortcut to run chrome:

"C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --proxy-server
See here: http://tiny.cc/A2tST

Encountering this problem following your first restart after installing Privoxy (which requires changing G-Chrome's proxy settings).
If, after installing Privoxy, you elected not to have it load on system startup, manually re-loaded Privoxy. Simply reconfigure Privoxy to load on startup and the problem should be corrected.

Some webpages are not opening on google chrome

Solution is very simple. Go to Google Chrome Settings >> Options >> Under The Hood >> uncheck "Enable phishing and malware protection". This problem occurs due to clash between Chrome and your Internet Security software installed in your computer like Kaspersky IS, etc.

I have trouble browsing the internet. I often get

Check the privacy settings and see if they are too strict this will cause some sites to not download. In Internet Explorer click tools>Intenet options>privacy. It should be set to medium so no cookies are blocked. If this is ok then yes you are having hardware connectivity problems. You're losing the connection before it can reach the site.

When visiting a site such as Friends Reunited I cannot view the site as I keep getting a message up with a yellow exclamation mark in a triangle saying: Error in addLoadEvent:(object error). I have typed...

It appears to be a Java script error.
The chances are some pages your are visiting are using Java script to deliver multilayer messages or adverts.
If you didn't have Java script installed on your machine you would get an error along the lines of "page was unable to load" so I am guessing your Java script needs updating.
Go to this site: http://www.java.com/en/ you can either download Java or have the site check your computer to see if it has the latest copy(easiest method).
