Why do you need to resolder? Are you certain that the device is still functional?
If the device sufferred some physical damage, it may have shorted out in the process. Installing it might cause a short with the computer it was inserted into.
I would recommend against repairing this device, and replace with a new unit. These are pretty well outdated anyway, and the Wireless G is the new de facto standard for wireless connectivity.
