got to the contacts page and select the contact you want to add a picture to then select the edit option and tap on or scroll down to the area where the picture would go, it will ask you if you want to use your camera or picture if you already have a picture saved and want to use it select pictures and go to the pic you want to use and select it. if you dont have a pic already use camera and it will let you take a picture to add to the contact.
