Question about Pioneer DEH-P80MP CD Player

3 Answers

Face Plate The CD will not eject and the face will not come off. This happens frequently but not all the time. I bought this player as an open box item but am not sure if this started with me or the previous owner. Is this a problem that can be fixed or do I have to return?!

maybe short circuit or similiar problem inside since its geting hot, probably not a problem with the faceplate I would remove the cd player from your car and take it to a professional for a diagnosis / repair estimate. Can't solve this one with text only.

Flip Down faceplate is stuck.

I have the same problem, and all my problem was is that one of the wheels were out of place. You can see these white gears at the bottom left and right. Just stick something in there and push it back in place. It should just snap back in.

all radios like your has two power inlets one is battery and the other is Acc or Ing. The battery line keeps power in the radio after you turn off your car both lines must work for the radio to turn on it sounds like a resister burn out thats why your face plate was warm.
