Question about Black & Decker B2300 Bread Machine
I have made one recipe from the breadmaker book and one recipe that a friend gave me from her black and decker book from an older model machine and both never turned out. it seems like the bread needs a longer baking time because both loaves were raw on the inside when cut. because the time is set automatically you can't even put it for longer baking time.
I got this bread maker for x mas as well and had to make a few loaves before i figured it out... i made a loaf the other day and it worked out perfect.... for the basic sandwich bread i just used lukewarm water, 5 cups of flour, and 3/4 tsp of yeast and it turned out perfect.... hope this can help out....

If your friend's machine it bigger than yours, you may be using a recipe that's too large for your machine. Try cutting it down by, say, 2/3. Or, find another recipe with two size options and use the smaller.
Also, don't open the machine at all when the bread is baking as it will let heat escape.
