Getting the right universal tv codes for a viore tv to program my optimum io remote.

I would look the code up on the remote manufacturers web site list.

AVOL 4 digit codes:
2735 1820 3382 2051 2397 3118

AVOL 5 digit codes:
13118 13382 13479 12735 12051 12397 12278 11531

for every remote control device ever made since the beginning of remote control devices?

If you have tried the different codes to program the remote to your TV, you can do a power scan to find a code. I have provided a link on how to do the power scan.

Most UPC's do not include the Viore, it is a non standard set. Some codes from others may work it

like 0092 316(tivo)

here is a response from the manufacturer.

Unfortunately, there would not be a remote code for this unit in your existing remote. The code would have to be already manufactured in the the remote that you have. This is a brand new unit from a new factory which has a whole new set of remote control information. We have provided our code information to several companies that maintain universal remote databases. There is a lag period before the remote with the new information can be manufactured and provided to cable TV customers. The only universal remote that would have our remote information readily available is a PC-programmable universal remote that allows the customer to download the code information (not a remote code) from the internet directly to the remote. Have you tried the search method?Turn the tv on manually. Hold the TV button and the SELECT button down together on the Avex remote until the light comes on. Then use the up (or down) arrow button to scan the codes. Use the up (or down) button slowly but quicker than 30 seconds. If it comes across the right code the tv will turn off. If the set goes off press the power button on the remote to turn the tv back on and test the volume and channel buttons for operation. If some of the buttons don't work continue pressing the up (or down) button until the tv cutts off again. When (and hopefully if) you find the right code press the TV button on the remote again and the light will blink 3 times to indicate it is programmed. I was able to program my viore tv by trying the code search:
1. Press the tv and sel buttons until the IO button turns red.
2. Press channel up or down until the tv turns off and the press the tv button to lock in the code.
Ps: Be pattient when searching for the code, it might take a while. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Contact service provider ( ie Directv.) to see if they have the code or a scanning method to get it to work.
