I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4124129-yearly_maintenance_reddy_heaters which explains the the problem you probably have and where to get the parts to get your unit running like new. Most portable heater parts are the same. Also DESA went into bankruptcy but many dealers still sell parts. This site also sells manuals. It is all in my tip. Let me know if you need more help.

reddyparts.com still has most parts for reddy heaters even though reddy heater went out of business in 98.

you have had dirty fuel or water in your fuel can.you need to replace the fuel filter behind the thermostat.
