Go into the tv picture settings and there should be an option for colors and try turning the green down, sorry its not an exact solution but i dont own one so just trying to help

Hi,thats sounds like its the green tube override may need to replaced, or the green circuit drive transistor defective;
that is all i can say from here,may be maked check by a technician?

from what i have had in the past was with this problem was convergence problems but it seems to be something originating from your main board.

Sounds like the gun is trying to fire up but has internal problems. You may want to see if you want to tackle the job of changing it out. Check with MCM Electronics to see cost of a new gun. 1-800-543-4330 or www.mcmelectronics.com

Pioneer sd-533hd5, STKs changed, getting blue screen but not pict


Did you have double image before changing the stk's ? If not then there was no need to change them.. Pioneers are known for bad solder connections especially in the power supply section.. suggest checking that when you changed the stk's that there are no solder bridges between the pins of either stk ICs

best thing i can suggest is buying a can of freeze from radio shack and spraying each ic/transistor till the problem appears again.

B & W only..no color


plug out the tv and let it stand for a while the you plug it in back again, if that does not work then call a tech to reset it for you.good luck.

Flashing Green


I would guess that your problem is similiar to mine but mine is with the color red. The CRT went out which is a 400 dollar part and who knows how hard to fix.
