Normal 0 Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

Try turning off the device, unplug power cable and turn on to flush the memory. Change the power cable as well. If this doesn't resolve the issue, probably something is loose in the board. Contact your support.

If you have already checked to ensure that the cables are firmly connected, the nest thing to try is another cable of the same type to see if the cable is the problem. If that doesn't resolve the issue then try and let the PS3 find the proper resolution automatically. Make sure your cables are firmly connected. Then turn on the POWER with the switch on the unit not on the remote. Keep holding down the power button until you hear a beep which should be about 5 seconds. You may have to try it a few times until you hear the beep. The PS3 will then automatically sense the cable connection as well as your display's native resolution. If that doesn't work then you likely have an internal issue. Unfortunately there are a number of problems that can cause the audio no video issue. At that point you would be better off having your local PS3 shop do a diagnostic on your machine. Most shops will probably charge you an hours labor to do the tests

The Scanner now has a pink line down the page - when I save a scan it has the pink line! Can this be fixed easily or should I buy a new All-In-One? I really like the HP 7410 -great until now.

Hi,

I always advice my customer to follow below steps if a vertical line are encountered while scan or copy.

SOLUTION ONE: Reset the All-in-One

Power Reset:

If there is static interference, or loose connections with the product, this can result in bands or lines in

the copy, fax, or scan output. To resolve this issue, check the product connections and reset the product.

1.Make sure the product is powered on, and then disconnect the power cord from the product.
2.Disconnect the USB cable from the product, and then disconnect it from the computer.
3.Reconnect the USB cable to the computer, and then reconnect it securely to the product.
4.Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, and then reconnect it to the wall outlet.
5.Reconnect the power cord to the product.
6.Press the Power button to turn on the product.
If these steps resolved the issue , you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, see the next reset.

Partial Reset

1.Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
2.Press and hold "#" and "3" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.

NVM Reset

If the issue persists, see the next Solution.

SOLUTION TWO: Clean the product and make a blank copy

If the scanner glass or the white underside of the lid has debris, this can slow performance and affect copy

and scan quality. To resolve this issue, clean the All-in-One.
Before you begin, gather the following materials:

*Several clean, soft, lint-free cloths
*Mild glass cleaner

1. Press the Power button ( ) to turn off the product, and disconnect the power cord from the product.
2. Open the scanner lid.
3. Spray a clean, soft, lint-free cloth with mild glass cleaner.
CAUTION:Do not spray the glass cleaner directly on the glass to avoid damaging the scanner.
4. Wipe the scanner glass and the white underside of the scanner lid with the dampened cloth.
5. Dry the scanner glass thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth, or chamois to prevent spotting, and then dry the white underside of the scanner lid.
NOTE:Do not use tissues that can leave fiber residue.
6. Clean and thoroughly dry the small strip of glass to the left of the scanner glass, and then clean and dry the white plastic strip on the left underside of the scanner lid.
7. Close the scanner lid.
8. Reconnect the power cord to the product, and press the Power button to turn on the product.

If the issue persists, please service the product.

Thanks & Regards
Rizwan

I am workiong from my home office but do not get throug to my firm ofice. I am connected with sonic wall global client, but when I try to ping the firm server but it doesnt answear.

It sounds like it might be an issue with the VPN client that is attempting to get to your server at the firm. If you are having issues, first contact the firm's IT department. If they still cannot get you connected then you will need to contact you ISP to make sure that they allow VPN connections.

Initialization failed - Unable to acquire TWAIN-compliant device

Hello,

I have seen your message stating that "Initialization failed - Unable to acquire TWAIN-compliant device" error is received when trying to connect USB-Parallel type to your Laptop.

Well,  Printer  Panasonic UF4100, recommends to use only " Printer/Scanner Interface as Bi-directional Parallel (IEEE1284) " means you need to use Parallel cable to connect Printer to the Computer/Notebook.  You may receive some communication error messages if you are using a  "PORT REPLICATOR CABLE"( USB TO PARALLEL connector).  The error message that you have received is related to the communication error. Futher, if you use same USB- Parallel cable for long time the Printer Hardware functionality might go bad, since Printer memory gets confused and will not read or detect the Cable , since it is not a cable to use  mentioned by Panasonic Manufacturer.

Let me tell you, general functionality of Printer like Printing would work even if you use USB-Parallel cable. But it is not a case with Scanner and Fax functionality.

Hence, I recommend you to use only Parallel cable to connect your Printer to the Laptops.

I hope that this will resolve the issue for you.

You can email me at thumuvikram@rediffmail.com if you need further assistance.

Bye.
