Question about Microsoft Office Outlook 2007: Windows
Outlook problem: Constant synchronizing files action - basically constant Send / Receive activity that is hogging CPU process time. How do I stop it?
Go to Tools > Send/Receive > Send/Receive Settings > Disable scheduled send/receive

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

After starting the send/receive program (not using Exchange, happens both working online & offline), Outlook 2007 sends & receives over 800 times and hogs cpu resources.
Found same solution on Tech Republic but it has worked and saved me a great deal of time and frustration.
GDS
I have the same problem,, dsabling send and receive schedule did not help.
