Question about Samsung SGH-D900 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Unsupported file format

I have transferred music to my LG KP500 (cookie) phone but whenever I tried to play them the message "Failed unsupported file" appears on screen. Even the music on the phone already shows this message. The memory is not full and I have added external memory which shows the same message.

it sounds really silly, but i downloaded a song from i-tunes, and it would not play on my kp500 but other songs would, i think on your computer the song is blocked from being played on anything but the computer.

Maybe the phone line was cut. Call your provider and ask them whats up.

Unsupported file?

Hiya, I had already converted mine to an mp3, and it still wasn't working, so I changed it to an m4a, and it worked! :) Instead of sending it to my phone by the computer cable, i sent it via bluetooth. Also, if you are using iTunes on a Mac, then when you drag the song out of your iTunes library, it will automatically be an m4a file.
Hope this helps. :)

Unsupported file format

You phone will only support certain file formats.
Go to Samsung and get the manual Click Here
The owners manual will tell you what music files, video files, picture files are supported by the software.
Then you may have to convert your files to work in your phone.
Let me know if this helped by rating the post...Thanks

Unsupported file format

The problem here could be that the images are too big or it isnt one of the file types associated for D900 (wav files are usually not supported), and hence they are being moved to other files. And the same reason goes for not being able to open them.
