There should be torx screws or 1/4 inch screws holding the filter down to the bottom , you should know when you get there because you cant go any further. good luck.

How to remove large food particle trap in a electrolux dishwasher model # EWDW6505GBO

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you want to know how to remove large food particles that are trapped in your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EWDW6505GB0. First, I would suggest that you scrape away large pieces of food before putting any dish in your dishwasher.

Your dishwasher is equipped with a state of the art wash system. Periodically, the Glass Trap Filter and Large Food Particle Trap may need to be cleaned to maximize wash performance. The Glass Trap Filter is located in the center of the Large Food Particle Trap. The Glass Trap Filter is designed to collect pieces of broken glass, straws, bones and pits. To remove items in the Glass Trap Filter, grasp the handle, lift out, empty and replace. Hope this is helpful.

My Frigidaire electrolux dishwasher model # FDB2310LCC0 trips a pf code 40minutes into the cycle and it is not the circuit breaker. how do i correct this problem?

Good Morning Doria, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

Typically PF means power failure and you should be able to start a cycle. Unplug the unit or flip the household circuit breaker. Wait about ten minutes and then turn the unit back on. If the error code continues to display, I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and repair it.

Best of luck!

Clogged drain in frigidaire dish washer

Hello Ian Younker - When did you last clean the filter? Most dishwashers have a glass trap located in the center of the filter designed to collect pieces of broken glass, straws, pits, etc. You should simply be able to grasp handle, lift out, empty and place it back. Also is the unit making a grinding noise? If so, I personally will recommend consulting a professional because you may possibly have a defective drain motor.

Frigidaire dishwasher is not spraying water from bottom

From what you have described, sounds like the sprayer arms are possibly loose or being held into place and can't rotate, by dishware.

Frostfree freezer leaking from lower front

From what you have described, without a model number, it sounds like the unit is leaking from possibly going into a defrost cycle. Check to see if you have any ice build up that is now melting or "slushy" in that general area. Water tends to run along the nearest plastic ridges and parts til it can escape underneath.

I can't remove the glass trap in my frigidaire dishwasher 4ghd2433kf

Try They didn't have my exact model number so I looked it up by type and found something with enough model numbers matching that it was actually a good match for the manual as well. What worked for me: "To empty the glass trap: 1. Grasp the glass trap's handle and rotate it 900 clockwise while pressing down on the center of the wash arm. 2. Grab the spray arm in the center and lift the spray arm and glass trap assembly up and out from the dishwasher. 3. Tip the assembly over an appropriate container and tap it to empty the glass trap. OR, separate the glass trap - pull the glass trap handle toward you, then up, then further toward you to slide it away from the rest of the assembly; empty it into an appropriate container; then slide the glass trap back into the assembly. 4. Place the assembly back into position, press down on the arm at the center and rotate the glass trap handle 900 counterclockwise being sure the glass trap ends in the orientation shown in the image above. To avoid damage to your unit make sure the spray arm and glass trap are fully snapped in place."

Cleaning the filter on frigidaire ultraquiet dishwasher

Hello Friend,

I see that you are wondering how to clean the filter on your Frigidaire dishwasher, model# FDB1050REC. The inside of your dishwasher is self-cleaning with normal use. If needed, clean around the tub gasket area with a damp cloth.

The filter is self-cleaning. A glass trap located in the center of the filter is designed to collect pieces of broken glass, straws, bones, and pits. To remove this glass trap, grasp the handle, lift out, empty it and replace it. Hope this helps.

I had a glass break in my Frigidaire dishwasher and now after it has completed the cycle there is still water in the bottom of the washer.

Please provide the model number of the dishwasher so that I can give you some idea where the broken pieces might be stuck.
