Digital tuning Vistron Tv

Have a brand new Vistron DB19-S 19'' TV which should tune itself automatically using its installed Freeview Tuner.
All I get when I scan is a notice saying ''No Signal''. I have tried it on a known good reception Digital Inlet ( this one I use with a Samsung 32'' LCD) and still the same thing happens.
Any ideas what the problem could be? I have read some mixed reviews on Vistron tuning capabilities!

I have exactly the same problem.
Received the TV from Ebuyer yesterday, only tried it last night, not contacted Ebuyer as yet.
Works fine on UHF signals can get all 5 channels.
Looks like I will be sending it back.
Not happy to take apart brand new tv. (I think I'm a techie.)
Looks like digital receiver is at fault.

SOURCE: i cant tune in the freeview channels on my brand

Have you completed the entire auto programming? This can take up to 30 minutes and if you don't complete it you won' get any digital channels. If you have done this then you need a new main signal board.Call lg and they will refer you to the nearest service center.

How do I tune sky tv into my new Toshiba television

If the TV set is on the same stand as the Sky box then you don't tune at all. Connect with either a HDMI cable or a SCART. Use the AV input on the TV.

If you mean you have a bedroom set, and Sky is piped around the house on RF, then that's something different.

Make sure your TV has an analogue tuner as well as the digital one used for Freeview. (check the remote for a TV/DTV button). Go in the the TV tuning menu, and do an Auto tune for both analogue and digital.

I have a Grundig TV P37-080GB or G.CG61-02GBM bought in UK. Using Auto Tuning I can find local TV channels but the audio to each of these channels does not work. I get a hissing sound as gets when not...

Hi.

If you are using the TV in UK, and you are using the internal digital tuner (aerial cable to TV), then the TV may be defective (faulty tuner or audio circuit). In that case call Grundig at the number listed on manual.
If TV is using an external digi box (eg. freeview), then check connection from box to TV, test using a different connection cable. Test using a DVD, if TV works on DVD replace the digi box.

If you are trying to use the TV outside UK, and you are using the internal digital tuner, then there may be a problem with signal. In that case purchase a tuner box and connect it to the TV.

How to tune freeview for digihome PVR80 it wont record bbc how to fine tune it .when we had to re-tune for channel 5 it worked perfect so please tell me how to do that again

On your remote control, press 'menu'.
Then select 'set up' on the screen.
Then select 'Installation' on the screen.
Then select 'Automatic channel scan' on the screen.
The box should then scan for all channels, and with luck BBC will be included. If not, please repost. Some older Digihome PVR80s can't cope with the new multiplexing standard employed by digital freeview.

I CANNOT TUNE IN MY LG FREEVIEW TV IN WHEN I AUTO TUNE IT IT CANNOT FIND ANY CHANNELS HAD NO PROBLEM BEFORE THE 4TH NOV

Sounds like the digital tuner modual has failed. Check all connections into the TV and make sure secure. Check with another Tv at that location & make sure you have signal. If all checks out with signal & runnning auto program, then you have a faulty tuner.

Can,t record from digital channels

You’re dvd/vcr only has analogue tuner so the only way to record is by using the Phillips tv but as said tv will need to be switched on.you would need a sky or cable box or a free view box separate to the tv to record with tv off.the vcr will recieve only on the av channel av1 when connected to tv.a sky box or cable can be connected to av2 on sharp using a second scart lead and box

Wharfedale DVDR24HD250 DVD Recorder When set up will not find any programmes on Automatic Programme Search (APS)

Products such as this will use an internal tuner to tune channels, this tuner will not detect your televisions freeview stations, to record from your television, connect scart out from tv to the scart in on the recorder, then select the scart A/V channel, use the television to select the channel you want to record, you will not be able to record 1 freeview channel and watch another freeview chanel as you only have 1 digital tuner (in the television) the recorder does not have freeview built in.. hope that helps
