Question about Dell Latitude C640 Notebook
It looks like Dell is pretty tight with this info. They want you to contact their tech support in one of these ways:
Before doing that though, I'd remove all power, unplug the CMOS battery and let it sit for a while before hooking the battery back up, applying power and see what happens.

If it is a windows password, use hiren's boot disk, easy peasy, if it is a bios password, little bit more work involved.have to bridge the chip out and timing is critical.
