Make sure the speakers are plugged into the GREEN port on your sound card many times people plug it into the linei n or mic jack by accident.

My HP A6400f pc has started to not want to turn on. It makes this wierd buzzing noise sometimes, monitor says video cable connected and then some times it wont even let me manually turn it of I end up...

Hi, mtmj8,

Can you tell whether the buzzing sound is coming from the power supply fan, the disk drive, or maybe an internal fan? I can't imagin it's the power supply fan, as the whole system would likely just cut out.

If it's an internal fan (CPU fan of graphics card), the system will come up to some random point before a component overheats, and usually the device will cut out in order to protect itself. You may be lucky and simply be able to replace the errant fan, or you may have to replace the component itself. Only if you feel confident enough, you may try to open the case and see if you can tell better which component is failing; take all precautions when operating a system with the case opened, and ensure that you do not touch any internal parts even while the power is switched off, as power supplies can retain a charge even when switched off and unplugged from the power supply.

If the buzzing sounds a bit "clunky", it may be your hard drive that's failing, in which case, the prospects for recovery are limited - you will probably have to replace it and reinstall the operating system and any software you have.

Problem with my hp photosmart C6280 printer...when paper is in...says out of paper...looks like something is wrong where paper feeds...

Try to reset the your printer by turning it off and unplug the power cord from he power outlet then unhook the printer cable and let the unit sit for 5 minutes and replug everything back in. If this would not work try to un-install then re-install the printer's software. If this would not work still call the printer's manufacturer for the unit to be warranted.

I just started using the Belkin N150 after hooking it up it worked for several days than it stopped. I have reset it unhooked and rehooked all connections unplugged power and replugged it in and still...

With what you have mentioned, i will say the following:
Keep pressing the reset button for 3 full minutes by counting on a stop watch. You must see the security(Lock) light going OFF after this reset, else try again, press it tight. After this type reset, unplug the power cable after 1 minute and keep it unplugged for another 1 minute. Plug in back the power cable and check the connections as it was made when it worked. Insert the belkin CD on the primary/base computer and setting it up.
If still its an issue, mail me at:
shanky_arvind@yahoo.co.uk
I ll make sure that your issue is resolved at any cost. Please, do not worry. I ll provide you with service FREE of any charges.
