Where is the smiley face located on my atrix 2 phone

There is an icon at the far bottom right of the text keyboard, looks like a smiley face. Single click in it and you will see all sorts of various smileys you can add to texts.

This is because the recipient system is not supported with smiley. Recipient have to download the same or else have to make smiley ON.

That are smileys,its like expressions. your mobile set does't support it. so you are getting it like that. (it will be like a head symbol)

This is one of the annoying aspects of this phone... The smileys show as symbols & not like the yellow faces like nokia phones etc. Unfortunately there is no way to activate smileys

You want to remove smily face then you change your format

Your device is only defaulted to use certain emoticons, symbols, and numbers. There is no software available that will allow you to use animated emoticons. Learn to use the symbols you have to create the smiley face you desire.

If your phone will support certain IM's, that is the only other way possible to use animated emoticons through IM. Thanks.

As sms is text only, people will get text messages only. To convert the smiley-characters into smiley images, the receiver should have support for emoticons, or have a 3rd party program to translate the emoticons. As most phones consider SMS as text messages, they won't convert them to emoticons...

You could try sending a message to yourself, or someone else with a k850i...Just to try.
