Please take out the speaker and inspect it for a torn cone. At times, humidity, amp power or just wear and tear ruins the cone. Then you can replace the speaker or re surface the old speaker with a new cone. That will save you some bucks but may not be as well as buying another speaker. Also please use the same model and Ohms of it. 8 or 16 ohms

I have a 2008 hyundai elantra...when listening to the radio or cd it sounds like someone is messing with the volume, turning it up and down.

If the issue you are describing follows this pattern (when slowing down, the radio turns down in volume, and when speeding up it turns up in volume), then your vehicle is equiped with an automatic volume control. This function was to allow the operator not to have to touch the volume control while driving. The volume increases to compensate for road noise. You should have a function control button that will allow you to turn this function off. Hope this helps.

I have an 1998 escort , i entered the radio code , the panel is lit and the search is working, although i raised the sound volume but no output sound , may i know why ???

Turn the VOLUME up to maximum.

Can you hear a noise?

YES?.....There is likely to be a problem with the radio

NO (Quiet) ...there is a problem between the radio and speakers ( loose connector , broken wire etc, blown speakers)

Need to know which wire is postive and negative for all the speakers in the 05 acura tsx

Take a digital multimeter and hook up the black probe up to the ground of the radio and take the red probe and check for resistance 0 resistance for a negative and 10 or higher reading for positive.

Stereo volume goes up itself

Funny huh? Actually, some aftermarket radios like Pioneer have a setting where it senses cabin volume and ups the radio volume itself to overcome cabin noise. I doubt this is your problem and belive the unit is really "mental" and needs repair/replace...

Do you know if my woofer is blown?

well if you hear a rattle sound its probably already blown...and the amp could be drawing too much power if the radio shuts off...make sure all your wiring is correct. also if your car is off and you turn it up it will most likely shut off cause the battery cant handle it. but as for the sub i think its blown. good luck

Low volume bass

You need to look got the amp for the sub if there is not one there is notting you can do. If there is one then just turn up the gain on the amp.
If not there are some times the gain is on the radio in a setting and the only way to find that is to look in the user manuil.
