Question about HP StorageWorks MSA30 14X 72G U320 15K 1TB TOTAL 302970-B21 (302970001)
I have a HP DL580 G4 connected to a MSA 30 dual channel (Smart Array 6404). On each channel there is configured RAID 1+0 with hot spare. The drives are Ultra320 SCSI 72GB, 15K running firmware version HPB1 or HPB6. If I try to start the server with one HDD unplugged, the ADU is reporting both the unplugged and the hot spare as Missing or Bad HDD and the array cannot be rebuild. Any help would be appreciated.
Upgrade the firmware to hpb6 or downgrade to hpb4 ==there is somme pb with mix disque hpb1 et hpb6
