there could be a number of problems here ,bad connection at jack going into computer ,or jack could be faulty try and move around wire at jack entering the pc i presume these are plug in 240v check there is power running to them if there is try them on another computer and see will they work ,you might have to down load sound drivers aswell above all check connections first goodluck
Well, sometimes these components can act like antennas. Do you live near a radio or tv station antenna? Or near a highway, or where truckers are near...might be CB'ers. Also, sometimes, in older houses with 2-prong only AC wall sockets. Also, yo don't want your speakers too close to your own TV, or cell phone, or computer itself, as this can cause interference to get into your speakers. Just some ideas.
Hi. Did you plug in the subwoofer/control to the Green Slot on the back of your pc ? (should be green wire connected in the green slot) Then you connect the 2 speakers in the back of the woofer. you will see a little slot with the label Speakers next to it.
Hope this helps, if this is not what you have already tried.
Well i have the X-540 and i use my speakers for my tv. but the it shouldent matter, first you should have a docking station with the RCA cables ( red, white and yellow). Connect the green audio plug connected to the back of the subwoofer to the green plug Videogame adapter(as seen in picture.)
Then plug the RCA cables from the docking station to the game adapter.

Hope this helps.
if u are connecting the speakers to the computer, remember u must have a sound card that has at least 6 channels ( 8 channels is best) if your do not have one for your comeputer, ask for an 8 channel sound card from your local computer/electronics store or type in "8 channel sound card" in ebay, its where i got mine
