You need to set the PC video resolution to 1600 x 900 for proper 16:9 wide screen format. But if your pictures that you taken with your camera were not 16:9, IE 4 X 5 then it will be stretched side way to fill the screen.
You need to consult your products owners manual for the correct procedure on how to synchronize the operation of the two components. If this does not work, make a call to the products technical help further assistance. Hope this helps you with our problem.
the original image size was probably recorded in 4:3 aspect ratio...meaning your widescreen is a 16:9 ratio size screen and is stretching it outwards to fill the whole screen. If you want the image to look normal.. ie. not short and fat people.... you need to change the picture size in the settings from widescreen 16:9 to normal 4:3 tv in the settings menu most likely...Also most remotes will/should have a button for that.
The issue here is that you have a low resolution picture and a high resolution display. Windows is "stretching" the smaller, low resolution picture so that it will fit across the larger area, thus distorting it.
Right click on the desktop and select properties. Go to the Desktop tab. There should be an item there for position. Is it set to Stretch? If it is, then this is causing the problem. Set it to center, and it should appear fine.
If you want to keep this from happening:
1) User higher resolution pictures.
2) Turn down the resolution on your screen (this can be done from the Settings tab of display properties).
2 questions: What is the screen resolution your monitor is set to and is the monitor a widescreen monitor?
