Hi,

It is probable there is a camera hardware failure for the Live Cam.

  1. Try uninstall the drivers
  2. Restart computer.
  3. Install CD Drivers FIRST!
  4. Then plug in the camera.
  5. If still hangs, check with Creative in your country for warranty issues.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Computer freezes when I connect Logitec web cam

Normal 0 There are a number of things that can cause the computer or the camera to freeze up.
First I’d check to see how much memory is installed in the computer. It takes additional memory to operate the camera.
Hope this helps. Bud

My laptop will shut off if I connect my logitech cam

Unplug all the other USB connected and just try plugging the camera into the USB and see if it works and doesn't shut down the computer. If it works, then one of the other units are conflicting with the camera. Then try plugging one USB unit at a time back in the computer and see which one is causing the problem. Good way to eliminate a problem and worth the afford. Bud
