Question about Kenmore 73502 / 73504 / 73509 Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
Everything in refrigerator is freezing-got first service call after one week-had to order parts-another week for second service call to install new parts-still same problem-freezing-after one week-another service call-supposedly with a senior technician??-fingers crossed-manual says takes 24 hours for each adjustment to settle-no service call within 24 hours after the second service call to check settings!!! Poor quality service-asked for service manager and was promised a call within 2 hours-guess what? no return call-everything is at least one week for service. Bought extended warranty-no help-doesn't correct problems-
recommended solution-make a better product with proper testing!!!!
If you have had 4 problems in a year where Sears had to replace something, you are entitled to a new refrigerator according to the lemon law. Call the 800 number and they can review your service calls. We have had several problems with our refrigerator as well. (Ice maker, lightbulb burning the plastic cover, motherboard needed replaced and the strip that holds the two doors together fell off) Today the service man was there for the 4th time to replace the door strip. I called the number and they are processing the paperwork for a new refrigerator.
