Question about Computers & Internet

I get this message while attempting a video call with my granddaughter. She and I are both using the Logitech QuickCam Chat...Same version, bought at the same time.... The Video Call failed because Kellee is using a version of Messenger that does not support this feature. How do I fix this?

She needs to update or downgrade her version of messenger. Whatever version you are running that the camera does work on.

it shouldn't be too hard once the file is downloaded the on screen instructions should do just fine.

Or you can find the link for the download and e-mail it to her so she won't have to pick out the right one online

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a logitech quickcam IM (webcam). It was installed awhile ago. It was working fine. Then, there was an update which automatically updated my logitech. I then started having problems with my viewing....

I would try downloading the most recent driver from Logitech. Click HERE. It will ask you what operating system you are using and then give you a choice of 2 files. Download the QuickCam v11.5 file and install. Let me know if this helps.

I just bought a logitech quickcam deluxe. Everything works fine except when I try to record a video. When I press stop recording to end a video that I am recording, nothing happens. No video shows up in...

in the camera setting you have to tell it where to save the video, although it shows in the gallery, it is actually saved in a folder, normally, my videos, but double check the save file thats set up

Installed logitech quickcam express followed instructions plug webcam in but cannot see my granddaughter in spain how do I resolve this problem

If the camera is working normally you just need a program that both of you have to communicate between each other. You can use Yahoo Messenger find that at www.yahoo.com or MSN messenger at http://im.live.com, there are also websites that just require a quick registration and are also totally free like www.stickam.com
Let me know if you need any further assistance and enjoy talking and seeing your grand daughter.
Thanks,
Lee
