SOURCE: power lite blinks 10 times. no pic no sound. cant turn on or off

red light flashes 4 times then stays on for about 5 seconds then flashes 4 times again any idea what this means and how i can fix it tv is about 4 years old and only just started doing this

Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're under warranty, this will cost you nothing. If you're not under warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher.

hello, you have a either your su, sd or sc boards fualty and it is a driver sos1 thats what the manual reads the best thing to do if your not electronically inclined or able to fix it is to get a service manual and make sure it is for your specific model and size you will find what the 7 blink codes mean, on my side i have a 42 in pana the service manual for this set and your is similar so since it is not the same model i cant tell you exactly what the truoble is but your best bet is to find a service manual find the 7 blink fualt then without getting ripped off you will know what the service man needs to do if you dont know or cant replace the parts yourself that is besides having to download firmware from your computer to a sd card and update your set but you need to solve the blinking code first it may solve the entire issue. the tv should come on when you resolve the blink codes or replace the fualty board or boards

blinking 10 times is an indicatron that the power module has failed. The sensor detects a fault on one of its internal boards( 3) and goes into shut down protection mode. You cannot play board swap jockey to fix this TV it will end up costing 3 times more if you attempt it. It requires a specialist knowledge,tools and ability to read a circuit diagram and ensure voltages are consistent with manufacturers recommendations across all boards.

If its got extended warranty claim now before itv expires.
if not get quotes for repair from a professional It;s not a DIY
