Almost all electronics stores have these devices now. Future Shop is always a good choice if you don't mind the big box stores as they have products like the Western Digital LiveHub in stock. If you have a PS3 you can stream media to your TV easily using the PS Media Server.

Bottom line I guess is that as long as you have an HDMI or Component hookups on your TV (which you do!) you have a large selection of products to choose from! Check this for a short list of ideas: Media Streaming

The PureVision PDP-434CMX is a Plasma monitor. Speakers are not included in the unit (but were available as an add-on option). You will need to connect external speakers to the TV (soundbar or other type of speaker).

You can use a PDPR06U if you can find one for sale its 2 generations later than your's. Look on Ebay. I might have one too but I got to look.

You can see on page 14 that it talks about the close caption.
"Not all programs offer the Closed Caption option. Please refer to the [CC] symbol to ensure the caption option is available."

It can also be caused if the broadcast source is poor, or the signal is weak.
