Question about Jeep AM/FM Cassette with CD Changer Controls - Upgrade Swap
It will read burnt cds, the only thing is that it will not play .mp3 format songs, if you can somehow change the format to something else it should work just fine. i had a friend who's car had the same problem and switching the file extension from .mp3 to something else like .mpeg or something else should work. the cd player in a 98 grand cherokee is older and does not have .mp3 play back on it so it cannot read .mp3 format files. that's the only reason it doesnot register. try different audi files out and it should work. give it a try. i hope that helps out some.
