Re: NoT Vocusing

Have you got the camera set to macro inadvertently or some other setting? Are you holding the camera in such a way that a finger is obscuring the I/R window? Check these out then come back

I cant see throu my camara dontknow what happend to my lens

It is not the lens. The condition is the aperture will not function as a result of the main circuit board malfunction. Check the polarization of the power supply battery and cell strength.

Transferred pics from computer to card and the camera will not display them - all are jpeg just like what the camera takes. These were from the camera but I wanted them back on the card also.

once out of the camera & deleted form the card, the camera will not display any of the images because it does not have that function. even jpeg images being the same format cannot be viewed.

Camera wont turn on

I actually fixed mine... please read all instructions b4 making actions...
i dont know how but ill tell u wat i did. (brace urself.. i will rambling a bit with unnecessary details, but it may help u... SO
i went to target... where i bought the camera and

1. bought a new battery b/c other forums said its the battery thats deffective.... This didnt help because i put the new battery in and it did the same thing.

2. i cleaned the new battery with a q-tip (the 3 metal parts.. and the inside of the camera where the metal parts connect) This did not work either

3. Clicked it to FAVORITES cuz i knew it was able to review pictures... i clicked menu and i reformatted the Month day and year and time (because it said it was wrong)... that didnt help...

4. finally... i decided this may work like the iPod.. so i held down the ON/OFF button while holding down the Time/Ascending Folder button (its in the circular panel where OK button is ... it is the button under OK on the circular panel) ... and eventually that green blinking light kept blinking... and all of a sudden i the monitor was showing picture again .. i took a picture of myself... deleted it... went back to camera mode... turned off the camera turned it back on... and its back to normal....

4- 1/2. I but back in my old battery... and it works like normal

IN CONCLUSION.... maybe its not ur battery. .so b4 u go out and spend 29.99 onn a new rechargable... follow my instructions and maybee it will work for u too!!

How can I set my Fuji FinePix S700 to print the date and time on the picture?

FIRST , go to MENU of camera and look for SETTINGS , DATE & TIME , if you dont see this option then refer to the camera manual to see if you have this option, some camras have this feature and some of them dont , hope this helps AJ

Unfortunatly the internal mechanism n the camera may be broken, same happend to mine, took it in and it was not repairable unless under warranty. I would check your warrenty.

Processing pause

Turn off the auto red eye removal can manually remove red eye later. If the auto red eye removal is on, it will try and process each picture after you take it and slow down camera.

The camra will not turn off and the lense wont close

I encountered the same problem, just last night. If it is the same, the only way I could get it to turn off was by taking the batteries out and the lens still would not retract. After re-installing the batteries several times with the same result, it would not turn off, I did this: I re-installed the batteries and powered up the camera, I applied a little force/pressure to the lens and it went back in. After that the camera seems to be working fine. I hope this helps, Mike
