Question about Keyboards & Mice
I bought a new Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 Saturday night and everything works fine but the volume buttons.Any solutions?

1. Do to Dell.com, click on SUPPORT, Enter your Service Tag, Search for system updates. I found out that my BIOS was not up to date.
2. Install updates.
3. If the problem still persists, try un-plugging the keyboard from your device and plug it back in. These steps worked for me. Hope it helps someone else out as well. Good Luck.

Are you using Windows Vista? If you are then go to
1. Click on Keyboard.
2. When the Keyboard Properties come up, CLICK on KEY SETTINGS.
3. Then set up the keys by selecting the Volume +/mute key, which is the bottom one, and click on it.
It will give you another window. Make sure you have a check in the block that says "Displays Volume and Mute Status on screen” Hope that will help some. Bud
