This problem is being faced by many persons and a proper solution has not been reached as yet. What you can do is uninstall the Add-on pack and wait for the update to appear. What else is there to loose, the annoying uninstall problem or parental control (which is only necessary if you have children).

It sounds like in this case there are parental settings that are enabled on your xbox that are preventing you from signing on to live. Here is a post from an online forum that should fix your problem.

I WOULD LIKE TO BLOCK FACE BOOK ON MY COMPUTER

Use windows Parental Control.

Just type on the Start Menu.. Parental Control.

That will allows you to block access and control what is available to be seen or used by other accounts.

I will suggest if you have children, set up an account for each of them with restricted privileges and parental control on each of those users.

Parental controll will allow you to do that.

The other option is to use a firewall and add www.facebook.com on it. You will need to buy a programs which provide that option.

You can try Norton.

God Bless You.

Hope it helped.

How do i turn off parental settings, or even better change my account to an adult one on xbox 360?

Hello,

If you did not create a Live account that is not over 18 years old, it is unfortunately impossible to COMPLETELY remove the parental controls on the Xbox, however, it is possible to almost completely turn them off. If you have access to the 'parent' account of the child's account on the Xbox 360 and you have your own Xbox Live Gamertag, you can login using your Windows Live account on Xbox.com and change parental control settings.

If the "Child" account has reached the age of 18, then you need to sign into the "Parent" account and follow these steps to convert the account to an "Adult" account:

  • Go to My Xbox, and open your profile.
  • Select Manage Account.
  • Select Promote Child Account.
  • Follow the required steps.

If the "Child" account is NOT atleast 18 years old then this is how to modify the Parental Control settings (Note: You can NOT completely disable Parental Controls, games that have ratings above the neccesary age can NOT be downloaded on the "Child"account):

  • Sign in using the "Child" account's Live email address and password.
  • Click on the gamertag in the upper right hand corner of the site.
  • Click the Manage Profile button.
  • Under the Gamer Profile heading, choose "Family Settings".
  • It will now ask to sign in as the "Parent" account.
  • After signing in, you can change the Parental Control limitations.
  • When done, click the save button at the bottom of the page.

Hope it helped.

I have just returned from holiday and my xbox has gone onto family settings and it is saying i am too young to play Fifa

This fifa problem has come up alot......

  1. From the XBOX dashboard screen, go to settings and then parental control.
  2. When prompted for the password, perform the following sequence using the XBOX controller: X, Y, Left Trigger, X.
  3. Enter in a new password, or disable parental control entirely.
Do that to make a new password or unlock family settings and change them.

If you cannot edit your settings with that new password, ask your parents for their email/password for the XBOX LIVE PARENTAL account.

From there you should allow all types of games, (no age blocks)

Good luck!
