2004 saab 9.5 ac working but the heat is not working

Hi, My 2004 saab 9.5 ac unit is working fine with the auto climate control. Unfortunately, when i put the temperature up to use the heat it is blowing cold air. Do you know what the problem might be?

Probly a switch or module is bad------maybe heater core too-----have it inspected by a specialist or radiator guy--not a dealer

SOURCE: Impala has dual climate control. AC blows cold on

with a dual climate control system, it is imperative for a proper refrigerant charge to be maintained. the symptom you describe is a possible indicator of low charge on the system. the ac evaporator core is closest to the right side of vehicle thereby making air feel cooler on that side, on the left side of the vehicle the cooled air has farther to travel and warms up from cabin air before it discharged from the vents. this is the most probable issue for your vehicle...however if the charge is accurate, the issue would be more so in the air temperature doors which is located deep inside the dash...i hope this helps...good luck!

SOURCE: E46 Climate control blows hot air regardless of temp setting

your water controll valve located at the right side of the engine near the extreme rear end of the inlet manifold may not be working properly hence the hot air .

SOURCE: AC Problem

Sounds like the blend door is stuck. Unfortunately the blend door is buried deep within the dash.

SOURCE: 2004 Chevy Silverado AC is blowing warm air on passenger side.

You have dual zones that are controlled by temperature actuators the passenger side has lost its memory or has gone bad you can put it in self programming by disconnecting the battery for ten minutes then hook it back up start the truck turn the temperature control on but do not touch any other controls let it go thru the self programming for about 6 to 7 minutes then select your temperature you want if it still does not work properly you may have a bad actuator or a bad connection at the actuator

SOURCE: 02 Jaguar S Type - Heater blowing cold air

Has the vehicle overheated recently, if not there is a failure of the Coolant from engine valve controller, that measures flow through the Heater Matrix. Come back with more, as necessary.

2003 Saab 9-5 2.3 leaks coolant (from engine cooling system-it's coolant/anitfreeze/water mix, not evap water, when ac on

Is it leaking inside the car? If so then it is more than likely the heater core is leaking antifreeze. You will need to replace the heater core under the dash.

My 2003 Saab 9-3 has very recently started to not want to produce cabin heat, the Automatic Climate Control (ACC) which my car is fitted with reads as though the fan is on and even on "hi" i can still...

I had the same problem. Unfortunately, I had to replace the cabin fan assembly. This cost $375 it works great now. The mechanic said he could tap the fan and make it work, but when he turned the car off and then restarted it would not work. So he replaced the cabin fan assembly.

I just had a stereo installed in my 2004 saab 9-3 and now my ac/heater panel lights don't work. today, the whole unit stopped turning on. any ideas?

Refer back to where it was installed - it sounds like one of the wire connectors may not have been secured properly. When you say the "whole unit" do you mean the heating / ACunit or the sound system? It isn't difficult to knock a connection loose when working in the dash panel. A reputable shop will be glad to check their work and repair it if they caused it accidentally.
